Mario A. Hernandez was born in the state of Hidalgo, Mexico, and since the age of two has resided in the East Los Angeles and Boyle Heights area. Hernandez is a mix-media artist who is moved by Mesoamerican Art, and he is also a museum educator who now serves part of the Marketing and Visitor Service Team at the LA Plaza de Cultura y Artes Museum, and worked previously, at the Vincent Price Art Museum as a tour guide. Hernandez has received a trio of Associate of Arts degrees from East Los Angeles College: In Art History, Studio Art and Arts Graphic Communication and he is currently pursuing a B.A. degree in Studio Art at Cal State Los Angeles. Hernandez currently resides in City Terrace, East Los Angeles where he continues to create multi mix-media art using various methods
